James & Lindsay started life back in 1931 as LC James & co, before merging with Lindsay in 1968 to form James & Lindsay Ltd – and has been a leading insurance provider in Essex ever since. We insure businesses and individuals all around Essex and love getting involved with our local community – in fact we even sponsor Colchester Rugby Football Club.

With James & Lindsay, you’ll experience excellent customer service from day one. We get to know each and every one of our clients so we can tailor our advice and insurance products to match their needs. Whether it’s Commercial Insurance, Personal Insurance or more specialised products such as Agricultural Insurance and High Net Worth Insurance, our aim is to foster long term business relationships through our attention to detail, choice of products, claims handling expertise and after-sales service.

As a member of Broker Network, the leading network for independent insurance brokers, we’re able to retain our independence while at the same time accessing enhanced deals from key UK insurers, including Lloyds – many of which simply aren’t available elsewhere. This means we can offer our clients exclusive insurance products that don’t break the bank, giving them the level of cover they need and the peace of mind they want.
